I survived the Christmas bug of 2011!

Apparently there is a very bad/contagious stomach flu going around. Brian got it the weekend before we left for Tulsa, then Des got it the day before we flew out and sadly Charlie got it on Christmas night and then passed it on to the rest of my family. It was like the domino effect. Each day we wondered who would be next!?!?!? In the end 9 out of 12 of my family members got the bug. My sister, her son Cooper and myself were the only survivors. So sad...

However, we didn't let the stomach flu get us down! We still had a great time visiting with family. It's so much fun watching all the cousins play together. I love seeing our family grow!

Hope all my fellow bloggers and readers had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

Enjoy the pics!

Des enjoyed spending quality time with Grandad. The weather was perfect our entire stay.

Charlie & Cooper. Coop is 10 weeks younger than Charlie. It doesn't look like it in this picture but they look a lot a like in person.

The kids were dressed and ready for the Christmas Eve service at church. Des (2 1/2), Jackson (15 months), Cooper (7 months), Charlie (9 months).

In my family we open the stocking stuffers on Christmas Eve. The kids loved it.

First time to open presents!

We set up Desmond's gifts on Christmas Eve so they would be the first thing he saw when he walked down the stairs Christmas morning.

Christmas morning. Here we go!

Charlie enjoyed Desmond's train track too.

Des & Jackson loved playing with each other.

Time to eat!

My little Christmas elf!

The grandkids with Grammy Jo & Grandad.

My brother Luke and his wife Julie and Jackson. They are expecting their second baby (it's a boy) in May!

My sister Jessica and her husband Chris and Cooper.

When I walked into the living room yesterday Des was laying with (on) Charlie watching TV. It was so cute. They are the best. I love them so much!

  2. Love all the family pictures, but especially the last one of Des and Charlie. I've caught Henry and Sam doing the same thing...makes my heart swell every time I see it. Lova ya, girl.
