While the boys are away...

The girls will play! Well, not really... Brian and Desmond went to Houston this weekend for a wedding so Charlie and I decided to stay home and get some things done. I got almost all my Christmas shopping done and finally got to catch up on a few of my favorite shows! I try to always stay caught up on these shows, "Parenthood," "The Good Wife," "Private Practice," and my new FAVORITE show "Revenge." Anybody else like these shows?

I had a bit of a scare on Friday evening. Around 7:30 pm as I watching TV and enjoying a hot cup of tea I heard someone lightly knock on my front door. Then a few seconds later they were unlocking the front door. I immediately jumped up and off the couch and headed to the front door yelling "who's there, who's there?!!?" Then in walks my friend Amelia? I said "what are you doing here?" She said, "I'm here to babysit." Needless to say she had the dates mixed up and we had a good laugh about me almost having a full on panic/heart attack!

I have a pretty bad cold so last night I decided to take nighttime cold medicine for the first time in 2 years. I sat down to watch the Republican debates and was passed out dead asleep by 8:00 pm.

Wow, well as you can read I'm turning into an old lady. Ha! Kidding. I missed my boys but it sure was nice to have a slower paced weekend and spend some quality time with my Char Char.

Charlie was all smiles after her nap yesterday and ready for some Christmas shopping at the mall. I had about 10 different people tell me how cute my little baby boy was yesterday. Can you see what's she's wearing here? A white onesie with a pink and brown heart and pink bows on the sleeves. I realize that she is bald and both her car seat and stroller are gender neutral BUT I ALWAYS have her dressed like a girl. Come on people, open your eyes!!!

My in-laws were hosting a work Holiday party at their house last night so Brian took both Desmond and Sage to the movies by himself. Check out all the popcorn and candy. I'm pretty sure they had a good time...
